I have been working with audio amplifiers for more than four years, building, testing and comparing different amplifier circuits and components.

My goal is simple: to achieve the best possible sound quality, not simply the highest power rating.

Over the years, I have tested many different amplifier designs, including integrated circuits and discrete transistor amplifiers. Every design is evaluated by its real sound — clarity, detail, natural vocals, musical instruments, background noise and overall listening experience.

MORE THAN JUST WATTS

Modern amplifier advertisements often focus on hundreds of watts of output power.

But in a normal home listening environment, enormous power is rarely necessary.

A well-designed 20–40 watt amplifier with excellent sound quality can provide a wonderful listening experience while maintaining low distortion and good musical detail.

That's why I pay more attention to sound quality than maximum wattage.


MY EXPERIENCE

I have been working with audio amplifiers for over four years.

During this time, I have assembled, tested and compared different amplifier circuits and components. Some designs sounded good, some did not. This experience helped me understand an important thing:

Technical specifications are only part of the story.

The final judge is the music itself.

That is what guides my choice of amplifier circuits and components.
